services

Care for the site you have. Craft for the one you need.

Four ways to work together. Most clients start with management and add development when a project comes up.

what i do

Website management

I’m your website manager, a technical partner so you can run your business. The service covers keeping your site current, secure and online, and the infrastructure it runs on.

  • Hands-on updates to WordPress, themes and plugins, reviewed and tested rather than left on autopilot
  • Troubleshooting and repair if an update ever breaks something
  • Daily backups, uptime monitoring and a quick response to outages
  • Security monitoring and hardening, and recovery if a site is ever compromised
  • Premium hosting, DNS, CDN and HTTPS, configured and managed for you
  • Small content edits, with a heads-up if a request becomes billable time

Custom development

Themes, plugins, forms, WooCommerce and integrations, written to WordPress coding standards, tested on a private copy and deployed with a backup.

  • Editor-friendly block themes and layouts
  • Plugins and integrations for the way you actually work
  • Gravity Forms and WooCommerce builds
  • Performance and accessibility improvements to an existing site

Work for agencies

Overflow and white-label development under your name: clear scope, a written handoff, and code your own team can maintain afterward.

Plugins and themes

Tools built for client work, packaged for others as they mature. See Products.

questions

Common questions

Do you host the sites you manage?

Yes. Management includes premium managed hosting, with DNS, CDN and HTTPS set up for you. If a site must stay on your own hosting account, I can work there instead.

Who owns the work?

You do. Client-specific code is delivered to you; the terms are written into the agreement for each project.

How is it priced?

Ongoing management is a monthly fee. Development and content work is quoted per project or billed hourly. Ask for current rates.

How quickly do you respond?

Outages and security issues come first. Everything else is answered in order, and I tell you up front when something will take longer.
